I'm back from San Diego!

So my trip from San Diego was quite eventful. I even took a trip out to the Spring Valley Swap Meet and a yummy taco place that was really worth the drive. I will soon be posting some pics from the trip...........

AIDS Walk 2009

On Sunday, October 4th, I'll be participating in the AIDS Walk 2009 with the City of Scottsdale GSA/DAC 'Angels with Attitude.' I had a blast last year! The best part is that you can register your doggy, and they get a little bandanna. I saw so many cute dogs last year.

We currently have 5 walkers registered, and 1 dog. More should be joining soon (like you, Tom!).

I'm really glad that I can just take the trolley (I call it the trolley instead of the light rail now, thanks to Missy's influence) to the start of the route.

Oktoberfest!

In about three weeks I'll be traveling out to San Diego to go to Oktoberfest, and see family. I grew up there so I have family & friends to see but Oktoberfest is a great perk. I've been planning this for a while now. This particular Oktoberfest is nothing like the one in Germany, but it still involves beer (which I do happen to love, by the way) and food. Other local bars around the area will feature drink specials on top of what's provided at the festival.

Travel to the festival will be provided by the local trolley (and yes that's what it's called there in San Diego). So at least everyone can enjoy themselves with the festivities without worrying about how we're getting home.
